Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cole is the totally the cutest and best coonhound to ever come out of the south!. Two year old Cole has a gorgeous black and white speckled and glossy coat, and everyone will ask you what kind of dog he is because he is so unusual looking! Rescued out of high kill northern Georgia shelter, his foster saved his life at the very last minute. Hardy and handsome Cole weighs 55lbs but looks leaner – he is absolutely the most adorable dog for sure. Foster mom Jennifer describes him as “breathtaking”! Athletic and muscular, Cole is equally as sweet. He has a hound “laid-back” and calm attitude, and he could even be said to be somewhat shy at first. Cool, calm and composed when you first meet him. Cole loves to play with others and is always ready to go. He will be yours and (your dogs) best friend. Cole will make a great running or hiking partner and he seems to enjoy the water too. You’ll need some slight training on the leash before running, but he learns fast and aims to please you. We’ve not kitty tested him yet, but he seems to have a low drive when it comes to squirrels…so we think he will be just fine with proper kiity intros. Cole is crate trained and house trained and is “perfect” around adults. Cole’s foster mom does not have children, but he has done well the times he has been around children, and his breed is known to be very good with kids. We think he will love the interaction of kids who can play with him! Foster mom is working on his basic commands, but he will need you to help him perfect these. Cole will love a fenced yard and enough exercise to keep his feet and nose occupied! He is good in his crate is totally house trained too. Cole has no food or toy aggression and LOVES car rides! So he will be ready to go when you are! Cole is neutered, completely vaccinated and micro-chipped. Are you ready to check out this handsome southern boy as soon as he arrives in Washington State??!! Cole leaves Georgia around September 7th and is expected to end his cross-country before the 14th. He’ll be hoping to have his new adopter (or foster?) to meet him as soon as he gets to town. Cole’s adoption fee is $400, he is worth every penny! Please fill out an online application at www.raincityrescue.com or email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com. Don’t miss out on this cool, calm and collected Georgia hound boy who needs you to make his new life in the great northwest simply wonderful!
