My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Herald - 1 year old male Miniature Schnauzer/Cocker Spaniel. We're calling him a schnocker! This friendly outgoing boy was rescued from an LA county shelter where he had been for 3 weeks. Poor guy was microchipped waiting for his owner to reclaim him but finally they relinquished him instead. His back was covered with some sort of oil/grease which irritated his skin causing some fur loss. He also had an ear infection. His medical issues have been addressed and he is ready for a new home. Herald is playful and lies other dogs. He could use some obedience training but he is eager to please. We named Herald after our some very special people who are trying to help us find good homes by giving us great PR in The Herald. Herald weighed in at 16 pounds.

Our adoptions are restricted to residences of the Los Angeles, CA area. We do not ship animals nor do we do any type of long distance adoptions. See Our Adoption Policies for more details on our adoption policies.

Our Adoption Fairs are held every Saturday at the PETCO located at 537 N. PCH Redondo Beach CA 90277 from noon-4:00pm. It is best to come before 3:00pm to allow time to visit with the dogs.
