Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Farfel's Rescue was contacted by a very devoted volunteer from a bleak Texas shelter...with emergency timing in place...to rescue Scout. She was described as SO cute and SO sweet that the thought of euthanizing her was impossible for the shelter staff to contemplate. As they visited with her in her cage, she would wiggle with delight and great temperament....a smile crossing her adorable face. She carries such a positive attitude in spite of her delivering 2 stillborn puppies in the shelter. Word went around about this adorable young pup who had suffered so...and still couldn't be more loving and forgiving. We knew this 1 year old, 24 lb girl was ours to save.... and place in a responsible and super-loving home in Colorado. Scout would be an exceptional companion for just about anyone....she's so flexible and devoted that she would easily fit into virtually any household. She likes other dogs and enjoys playing (as a year old pup would). She could also be very happy as an only dog as long as she got lots of attention, time spent with her family and excercise/play/toys to keep her stimulated. She also enjoys kids and could enjoy hiking and time on the soccer or baseball field socializing in her very positive way. A retired couple or individual could also be perfect for Scout. She'd be so happy to have her favorite people spend lots of time playing, walking or just hanging out on the couch with her - Scout is always (once she bonds) an exceptionally devoted companion! Scout is a non-shedding girl and will therefore require periodic grooming to keep her coat healthy and matt-free. Scout has been completely vetted, spayed, vaccinated and temperament tested in our quest to adopt out healthy/well-adjusted dogs.
Scout is arriving on transport in Denver 8/19. Applications are currently being accepted for this devoted and loving companion.
