My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look at those soulful sweet eyes! We think he has wolfhound in him but he's petite for that breed (60 lbs about). Perkins just turned 9 years old. He is house-trained, amazing on a leash and super sweet! He is little unsure with strangers but quickly takes direction from his person.

He is affectionate with those he knows and trusts.This is a fantastic, intelligent, magical dog for that lucky person who has the time and energy to devote to training and exercise that an active dog like Perkins needs. Ideal adopters would have a calm quiet home, without a lot of strangers in and out, who would be patient enough to give him the time he needs to settle into a new environment. He does need to be the only dog in the home.

Perkins responds very well to positive reinforcement, and is very gentle when taking treats from one's hand!
