My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sandy was rescued from a high kill shelter in North Carolina. She is incredibly sweet. You couldn't find a more gentle and easy-going dog. She loves children of all ages, and had a temporary foster who had a daycare. Sandy loved the kids and didn't even mind the toddlers pulling on her ears and climbing all over her. She gets along well with other dogs and even gets along with cats. In fact, Sandy loves everybody! Sandy has been vetted and spayed, and is currently in the final stages of heartworm treatment. As soon as that is complete, she will be available for adoption. She is a one-of-a-kind dog that doesn't have a mean bone in her body and is happy wherever she is. But she would be happiest with a family of her own!
