My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Abby! This adorable girl is a spayed 4 year old Pekingese/Tibetan Spaniel Mix. Weighing in at 16 lbs., she is a fun little dog with a big personality! Abby is an active dog who loves to take walks, rides in the car and play with toys, but also knows how to settle down and take a preferred place snuggling in your lap. As sweet as she is, Abby does have an independent, stubborn streak which will require that her new owners be dog savvy, firm and know how to set boundaries. POA volunteers continue to work with her, and she has made great progress in knowing what she can and cannot get away with. Abby’s new people will need to continue that training, and guide her into being the best she can be! Abby should go to an adult home and she prefers to be the only dog. She likes the attention of humans, rather than having canine and feline buddies. If you'd like more info on Abby please email dogloverlaura@gmail.com.
