My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Midge. I am about 5 years old. If you want to know what breed I am
well good luck! I think all that breed stuff is silly anyway! I weigh about 30
pounds and some say I am "chubby". If that is true, I like chubby. I have
kind of a sad story but I am looking forward to a happy ending to it! My dad
passed away (yeah, I know, it was sad but it gets worse). My dad had left some
of his stuff to the local Humane Society and his brother did not think that was
fair. So until that was all settled we (my sister, Bixby, and I) stayed with
him. Well, the judge decided that the Humane Society should get some of my
dad's stuff but that his brother shouldn't. That is when he decided we needed
to go. He was going to send us to the shelter and that would likely have ended
poorly; however, a Humane Society volunteer decided to foster me and Bixby until
we could find a home. We have only been in foster care for a few days. This is
what I hear my foster mom say: "You are such a sweet girl." "You can sleep
inside but you can't sleep on the bed, it's already too full of dogs." "Do you
know that you are a chunky monkey?" "Yes, you can get on the couch." "I don't
care if you used to stay inside all day, you have to go out here. But I will
leave the garage door open some so you can come and go." "You have a silly
grin!" "Stop licking me in the face you silly girl!" Anyway, maybe that tells
you something (honestly I have no idea what any of it means!).
