My story

He is an OES/Pyrenees mix a little over 1 year old.

He is an OES/Pyrenees mix a little over 1 year old.
Jonah came to us in a cage and matted to the skin; he had been very mistreated.
He was in such poor condition and left in a crate where no one touched him for months.
Anesthesia was necessary for hours to shave and vet him.
Fast forward 6 months: He has been at a training a rehab facility in Flower Mound, Texas, and has come a long way.
Jonah gets along with other dogs; he just wants someone to love and someone who will love him back.
He needs a firm - but gentle hand and someone who will commit to taking whatever time is needed to build a trust with him.
Once that trust is built he will be the best friend and protector for the right person and will stick to that person like velcro.
We will not place him with anyone who has children under the age of 16.
We also require that the potential adopter be willing to go to the facility for at least 2 weeks prior to taking Jonah home to get to know him.
