Fritz is a two-and-a-half-year-old Cairn Terrier/Terrier/Shih Tzu mix who was rescued from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter. He weighs about 11 lbs. He is a sweet and loving dog who is so happy to be with people and other dogs too. He does not bother our cats and lets them go about their business. When he gets happy and excited he gets so full of himself that he starts dancing about and believe it or not actually displays a real (and very cute!) grin to show you that he is happy happy happy. He is very friendly and gentle and would be fine with kids too. He loves to hang out with you and keep you company. He is not a barker unless he is alerting you to something. We did have him professionally groomed. His coat was slightly longer and "messier" when we pulled him from the shelter.

Fritz is very loyal and has a great personality. He is potty-trained (though potty reinforcement is needed in any new environment), crate-trained, and he will not mark in your house. He also knows how to use the dog door. If you show him the dog door and repeat this a few times, he will probably catch on fairly quickly that that is what he needs to do to go out and go potty. He does not chew things or dig holes. He is a wonderful guy with a huge heart! The best home for Fritz would be in a home with another dog to keep him company. He is very dog friendly and seems to really enjoy having another dog around.
