Trooper is a bouncy, sweet, goofy, energetic and loving, one-year-old, 43-pound, male, short and long, Pointer/Basset Hound-mix looking for a loving guardian.

Trooper is a big happy puppy … he loves people and enjoys playing with dogs about his own size … he thinks tiny dogs are toys.

Trooper is a playful and fun boy who will do best in a home where someone has time to exercise and train a young dog. He settles down nicely in the home if you give him a Kong with some peanut butter and treats inside. It’ll keep him busy all night long.

He already knows the command sit and takes treats very nicely. He takes direction well and should be easy to train because he’s so food-motivated.

Trooper is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on heartworm protection. His adoption fee of $200 benefits Famous Fido’s Rescue Group.
