Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tory, a Boxer-Blue Heeler mix, is always thinking. Don't be surprised to find her peering at you quizzically each and every time you do something new or different! Tory has learned to crate herself, walks well on a leash, and is now learning commands like sit and down. She is also learning to live with cats-paws off! She has had a couple of opportunities to play in the creek and enjoys trying to catch the ripples. Tory likes to meet children and greets them gently, although almost always with a 'kiss', and she watches protectively over her blind, much-younger foster fur-brother. She is a deeply loving dog and will become a close companion to the right person. Tory needs to be kept active, either through exercise or advanced training. She won't do well if she is crated or left alone for long hours. Although her coloration is much like that of her Boxer parent, she is built more like a Blue Heeler and she has a thick coat which tries to curl along her back. Tory would do best in a home without small children and she would prefer to be the only dog. Adoption fee $150.
