My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jake is an awesome fellow looking for a home of his own. He is very friendly and lots of fun. He loves to chase bugs and pounce on them. He is so proud of himself when he catches one – it’s quite comical to watch! Jake walks wonderfully on leash and is crate-trained and housebroken. He loves to be with his people and really, really likes our cats. He enjoys being around most other dogs but can be a bit picky about just who he likes to hang out with. If you have another dog and are interested in adopting Jake we would request a play date at our adoption center to be sure they will get along. If you want to take Jake for a car ride he will be thrilled to come along with you! He will jump right in and is very well behaved on adventures with his family. Jake weighs 19 lbs. and is 4 years old. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all of his vaccinations. He has tested heartworm negative and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
