Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! My name's Bruno and I'm an 8 week old All American Pittie, maybe mixed with Labrador. I was taken to the local pound facility as a stray, abandoned as a tiny little guy. Luckily, the good people at that shelter helped me and then the ARP gave me a second chance to find a forever family.
I am an easy going guy who’s just as likely to lounge with you as to play with you. I really enjoy the company of people and especially other dogs, but I can entertain myself too. I LOVE to learn new things and am very food motivated. In fact, when I get hungry, I carry my bowl to my foster mom! I'm also working hard on crate-training and house-training.
I need a family that can play hard and relax well, so where's your favorite spot? I'd love for you to take me there someday! How does next week look?

The Animal Rescue Project (www.animalrescueproject.org) is committed to the best possible veterinary care for the pets it rescues—and it is looking for adopters who will be similarly committed.
All dogs and puppies are given a general check-up when they enter our program. They receive medication to remove any intestinal parasites (worms), fleas, and ticks they may have. Dogs greater than six months of age are checked for heartworm. If heartworm positive, the Animal Rescue Project treats the disease. Dogs and pups receive all age-appropriate vaccinations for distemper, and dogs greater than four months of age are also vaccinated for rabies, in compliance with State of Michigan laws.
Most dogs and older puppies are spayed or neutered before adoption. In the case of puppies not old enough to be safely sterilized, a $25 deposit is required at the time of adoption and is refunded to the adopter with proof of sterilization.
The Animal Rescue Project requires every adopter to establish an active relationship with a veterinarian no later than 10 days after adoption. Adopters will receive a plan for routine veterinary care at the time of adoption and are expected to work with their vet to complete the plan.
