My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

5/1- On March 7 a professional trainer visited a local dog pound looking for a candidate for the Paws in Prison Program. She spotted a very pregnant dog. The dog looked like she could give birth at any time. She didn't have anything to lay on and the concrete floor was wet from being hosed down. The trainer asked a volunteer with the humane society if she could help with the pregnant dog. The volunteer picked the dog up on the next afternoon and she gave birth to 9 puppies the following day, March 9. Mom is a tan shepherd mix. She is very smart and was a great mom. She is now spayed and adopted. Her suitors are unknown, but we can bet there was collie, Rottie, and lab, perhaps even boxer in the mix. These 9 "B pups" are a hodge-podge, but they are adorable and healthy and will be ready for their homes on May 25th. Since they have been handled since they were born they are very people oriented. We are accepting applications for pre-adoption. The adoption fee of $425 includes age-appropriate vaccines, initial de-worming, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, USDA interstate health certificate and transport fee.
