Chatsworth is a male Shih Tzu possibly mixed with Westie. According to our vet, he is between 2 to 3 years of age. He is a hefty, stocky boy weighing in at a solid 19 pounds. Chatsworth is a wonderful companion dog. He is extremely friendly, excellent with children and good with other dogs. He has a very sweet and kind heart. Chatsworth loves to be where the people are and is eager to be included in family life. He housetrained, is great inside the house and will lay quietly near you if nothing is going on. He welcomes company and is always well mannered. Chatsworth's most darling attribute by far is when he thinks he's going to get a treat..... he will sit up on his hind legs with his front paws dangling in front of him and "beg" waiting for a tasty morsel. Chatsworth is never picky and will take any and all handouts. He loves to eat! Chatsworth is excellent in public and you can take him anywhere and be confident he will act appropriately. When out and about, he will lay down quietly at your feet while you chat with friends. He loves his walks and becomes very animated when he sees the leash come out. He is great walking on leash, strutting right out in front with confidence. Chatsworth was brought in stray to a very high kill shelter in a neglected, matted condition. He is doing great in his foster home and will make an awesome choice for a family pet. He is ready for his new future and forever home today!
Chatsworth’s adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Chatsworth is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Mary and is ready for his forever home.
