Nina is a 9 week old spayed female black lab and pit bull mix. She was rescued from a local shelter at 5 weeks old. Nina is currently fostered with a 12 year old female Rottweiler and a 4 year old female pit bull. She is very playful and learning boundaries with the other dogs. Nina is working on potty training but will need continued guidance to be fully potty trained. She is familiar with a doggie door but due to her young age and how small she is she can get out but not back inside, she will grow into being able to use one in the future. Nina is very curious about her environment, very playful, very sweet, and full of personality. Nina currently does use a crate when unsupervised and would do best with continued crate training. She would do best in a home with other dogs, supervised younger children or older children (she is a puppy and is learning not to nip), and a very active home. Nina will be a larger dog when full grown and will definitely benefit from basic training, she is very smart and already sits for treats with her foster sisters. If you would like to meet Nina please contact her foster mom Sarah at 313-682-2420
