Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Darla is a beautiful, young, very sweet and affectionate 1 1/2 year old harlequin female who is housebroken and crate trained. She came into rescue with a litter of puppies. Darla loves to play with other dogs and running in the yard. She enjoys walks but needs a little work on leash manners. Darla is petite girl at about 95 pounds and has one brown eye and one blue eye with very striking features!! Darla has a very high prey drive. She loves to chase the bunnies and squirrels that live in our yard. I wouldn't trust her around small animals in the house. We are not sure about cats at this time. She does LOVE other dogs and meets new dogs very well! Darla is good with the foster home's kids who are 4 and 5 years old. She is currently being fostered with an American Bulldog male who loves to play with her and also a senior Chihuahua who doesn't think her play antics are all that funny. She tries to chase him and we are working with Darla to leave him alone; she is getting better with him every day. She knows sit, down and paw and she will even "sit pretty" which is totally adorable. Darla is a typical Velcro Dane personality and does get upset if she is separated from her people. She does bark at strangers outside the home or the fence but if a stranger comes in the house, she meets them easily with wags and leans! Darla would do best in a home that is active and home often. She can be crated and left alone but it would be better for her if her people wouldn't be gone for long hours in a day. Darla would also do best with a dog that enjoys to play and run. She is a lot of fun and everyone that has met her enjoys her so much!
