My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am 75lbs, about 1-2 years old, and social and loving. My adoption fee is $350.
Animal Rescue of Illinois (Animal Rescue Associates) concentrates on rescuing the animals that are awaiting their horrific fate of euthanasia in high-kill facilities throughout Illinois and the surrounding states. WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER. These wonderful pets are likely located in foster homes in Lake, Cook, or Mchenry county. If you would like to adopt one of the precious pets awaiting their forever home, or would like more information on our adoption process, please visit us on line at www.animalrescueofillinois.org. All pets available for adoption, based on health and age requirements, will be spayed/neutered, have been examined by a veterinarian and given medical care for known conditions, heartworm checked (dogs), Felv/FIV checked (cats), dewormed, vaccinated, have monthly flea/tick prevention and/or heartworm prevention (dogs), and microchipped. Your new pet will also include a FREE veterinary health exam at an ARI participating veterinarian, a FREE month of health insurance for your new pet*, and FREE credit for grooming, boarding and/or doggie daycare! The adoption cost of your new pet may vary and it assists us in the rescue of another. ARI spends a great deal of time and funds to care for and to treat any known medical conditions for your new pet, prior to adoption. We do our best to ensure your new pet is as healthy as possible! Your adoption cost vastly outweighs, for services received, retail veterinary costs! If you would like to adopt one of the precious pets awaiting their forever home, please fill out an adoption application on line at www.animalrescueofillinois.org or https://animalrescueofillinois.org/Adoption_Application.html Adoptions are done on a first come, first served basis and will be processed in order of receipt. An adoption coordinator will contact you once your application is processed. Our rescued pets are generally located in foster homes. In order to meet one of these wonderful pets, please fill out an adoption application on line. The animal's pictures and description are no longer visable on our Adoptable Pet list once they are adopted, or shortly after. For more information on the pets available for adoption, and our adoption procedure, through Animal Rescue of Illinois contact info@animalrescueofillinois.org ,or visit us on line at www.animalrescueofillinois.org *Owner to register at the time of adoption w/ a major credit card. ANIMAL RESCUE OF ILLINOIS 815-466-1000 (please expect 36 hours for a response by phone. Email is the pref. method of contact).
