Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Gaya and I am a 4.5-year-old, very intriguing mix. I am part Bernese Mountain Dog and part Bloodhound (Chien de St. Hubert) which means that I have the best of both breeds rolled into one. I have known what it is like to be a cherished member of a family; sadly, one of my pack has allergies and my humans asked Animatch to find me another good home. I’m pretty broken up about it myself but at least they cared for me enough to bring me to a safe place and the nice people here have promised that I will get a family that will be as devoted to me as my last one. I’m a little shy and unsure of myself; just because I weigh 100 lbs. doesn’t mean I’m the most confident of dogs. I respond best to a gentle touch and soft words. I get along with other dogs and I’m always keen for a game of fetch or Frisbee. I do enjoy going for long walks, it relaxes me and I am fond of spending time with my human. Once I’m comfortable with folks, I’m a real love bug who will look up at you with pure, unconditional love in my big, brown eyes. I have many years of blissful togetherness to spend with my new guardians. So, don’t pass me by. I promise to be your best friend forever. Please fill in the Adoption Form and write my name.
