Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oreo's a very sweet 2-3 year-old mix of Border Collie and Elkhound and a great size at only about 30 pounds. She's got a beautiful short coat with brown highlights and a curly tail suggesting a Northern breed in the mix. Oreo found herself homeless at a high-kill county dog pound with few options for a bright future. Canine Lifeline rescued her and now she is at Friendship ready to find a loving family. Oreo's super-friendly and outgoing with everyone she meets--other dogs included. She's got lots of spunk so would probably make a good candidate for agility training once she's got basic obedience mastered. Oreo does well in her crate but would prefer to be out socializing with people and other dogs. She seems to like to be busy so a home with an active lifestyle that incorporates the dog in daily activities would be perfect for her. She probably wouldn't like being home alone for 8+ hours everyday. If Oreo sounds like the dog of your dreams, hurry down to Friendship and give her the loving home she deserves.
If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
