My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Louie. Louie is a beautiful three and a half month old mixed breed. He is possibly Newfoundland/lab or Bernese Mountain dog/Lab who at the moment is weighing in at 30lbs. He is a large puppy who will without a doubt be a large dog. He has a very shiny, soft coat and a very gentle nature.

Louie came to the rescue with his brother Hudson from a family who could not care for them.

He has the most laid back personality of any puppy you might meet, loving other dogs, cats, children and seeming to take every new situation in his stride with no fuss.

He sleeps in his crate at night and for a few hours during the day without any problem. He is very well socialized with other dogs, having five foster dogs for company.

Louie loves going for car rides, where he is very well behaved, usually sleeping in the back seat. He is well on his way to being housetrained, learning to go out and in with the others. Louie answers to his name and will ‘sit’ for a treat and ‘wait’ for his food…..he is very food motivated which will help, along with him being pretty smart, with his training.

Louie is a clean slate, no issues puppy, the little guy is looking for a very lucky family to welcome him into their hearts and help him become the wonderful family member that we know he will be.

Louie is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed rescue. His adoption donation is $375. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered,
microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm tested as part of their adoption. Please fill out an application at our website
