My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Rocco and I am a handsome 1-year-old Boxer mix. My foster mom says I am a real hunk. She could be a bit biased, but even I have to admit to being a good-looking guy.

I am very friendly and affectionate with people, I love to be scratched behind my ears, and I am a big fan of butt scratches. I am perfectly house broken. I also know “sit” “paw” “stay” and am working on “lay down”. I have been known to do almost anything for a hot dog or some peanut butter. My being food driven really helps in my training.

I need to be in a home with no other dogs. I play well with some dogs in a social setting but not so well with others, so it is important to do a proper introduction.

Because of my size and my bouncy personality, I would probably do best in a home with older children who would be respectful of my personal space.

I am a very smart guy, and would need an experienced adopter to provide me with the structure and confidence that I crave.

I am neutered, up to date on all my shots, DNA tested, and micro-chipped.
