My story

Harpo is a very timid but sweet-natured ~4 year old bichon/poodle rescued from a puppy mill. He was filthy and covered head to toe in mats- check back for pics after his makeover! He loves other dogs and needs a calmer adult home with at least one other friendly dog to help him adjust. Please submit an application if you are interested.

3/18/13- Thanks to No More Tears rescue, we just saved 15 more little guys from horrible lives in cages in Amish puppy mills! All adults age 2-7 years. Lots of doxies, schnauzers, yorkies, poodle mixes, and more... all were filthy and some were in horrible shape covered in thick mats, with teeth so rotted they were falling out as we examined them. Some are friendly and desperate for human attention while others are shy and will need patient homes to teach them to trust. All are in the process of being spayed/neutered, groomed, and treated for various ear, skin, and eye infections and parasites as a result of improper vet care their whole lives and will be ready for adoption very soon. Their medical costs will be high but it is worth it to get them ready to finally have real homes and people who love them. Please consider donating toward their care, and submit an application if you are interested in any of them...

We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash) in Morris Plains (Denville on GPS).
