Astrid is a female Tibetan/Poodle mix approximately 4 years of age. She is a nice sturdy size, currently weighing 19 pounds. Astrid has lovely, wavy tan fur with a little dusky gray mixed in and darker gray ears. She has been professionally groomed and is non-shedding. Astrid's fur coat is clipped shorter due to severe matting and neglect upon her arrival at the shelter. She was brought in stray to a very high kill shelter practically unrecognizable because of the neglected state of her fur. With a little time, her coat will grow out and the coloring is going to be amazing. Astrid a refined lady, with almost a regal air about her. She is calm and considerate of everyone around her. She is also excellent with children. Astrid enjoys the company of people and will eagerly wag her tail and be affectionate, but usually will wait until you invite her over for some attention. If you are busy with other things, Astrid will most likely stretch out on the nearest dog bed and quietly observe the activities. Out on walks, she is an eager, strong walker and could even go for short hikes if you wanted. She is great with other dogs and you can count on her good behavior when out in public. Astrid is smart and seems like she has seen a lot of the world, possibly not all pleasant things, but our guess is she has seen it all and nothing surprises her anymore. She definitely wants to be part of the family and would be thrilled to have a permanent, loving home. She is healthy and ready for her forever home today!
Astrid’s adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Astrid is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Sharon and is ready for her forever home.
