Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ainsle is a lovable, playful and snugly three or four-year-old, 27-pound, male Golden Retriever/Sheltie-mix looking for a loving guardian. Ainsle was abandoned; tied to a fence on Chicago’s Ainsle Street. He was rescued and fully vetted. Amazingly, his foster mom discovered where he came from and they said they didn’t want him anymore. He is sweet, fun, housebroken, non-destructive … almost perfect. He knows the commands sit, lay, jump and give paw and he takes treats gently from your fingers. He’s extremely food-motivated and easy to train. He loves walks, runs and playing outside – so he’d probably be happiest in a home with a fenced in yard. He loves his three walks a day, and he loves to play with other dogs. Because Ainsle has long hair, he needs to be brushed regularly and professionally groomed at least every other month or his fur gets matted. He is extremely healthy, neutered, up-to-date on rabies, distemper and bordatella vaccines, de-wormed, and heartworm-tested. His adoption fee of $125 rescued dogs. To meet and possibly adopt Ainsle, please contact Sheri at sheri@petraits.com or 773-777-2891. He is being fostered in Chicago. He is best in a home with children over the age of ten.
