My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darby is a perky and clever 1 year old pug / fox terrier mix with probably a dash of chihuahua thrown in. She has an appealing little face with big eyes, an apple-shaped head, and a button nose. She's small-boned and only weighs about 17 lbs but has the speed of a greyhound. It's exhilarating to watch her when she races at full speed in circles around you. She's frisky and will spontaneously start playing with toys and her doggy friends if given a chance. She's a bit tentative when she first meets new people but, given a few minutes to figure out that they are safe, she will happily climb onto their laps and snuggle close for some loving. She's very responsive to praise and encouragement; because of this and her sharp wits, she will train easily. She would make a great little agility dog as she's quick and agile. Darby's adoption fee is $150; she's spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations
