Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SERENA is a GORGEOUS, 1 yr old, approx 80 lb., GERMAN SHEPHERD/LEONBERGER MIX pup, two outstanding breeds, one "outstanding" girl!! Serena was rescued along with her sister in a small town in Tennessee. A good samaritan called us letting us know that he had just seen these two magnificent dogs literally thrown away. Their owner opened his car door pushed these two pups out and drove away!!! When we heard about this tragedy we were on our way to help. We rescued both of the pups and we are so glad we did. They are just BEAUTIFUL, wonderful girls and deserved better then to be thrown away!!!!! We have spent lots of time socializing this precious girl and she has done GREAT! She has learned that there are good, kind and loving people in the world. Serena has one of the most beautiful coats we have seen, it is a combination of two gorgeous colors, "high gloss" black and a pale, pale, champagne color. Her coat is long, flowing and actually looks like feathers blowing in the wind when Serena moves. Serena also has the longest flowing plume like tail I have ever seen. She is a quiet, gentle, calm pup and walks with the most graceful, regal steps. Serena is just a doll and she is going to make someone a wonderful companion. She is special in the fact that she has overcome not being "wanted" and she has learned that people are good. Serena has been spayed, current on all vaccinations including Rabies, and Bordetella. She was treated for a mild case of heartworm and our vet has given her the OK to find her forever home. She is heartworm negative, on preventative, dewormed and on Vectra for fleas and ticks. Serena is located in the South and will arrive in the New England area on a pet transport when adopted. Her adoption fee is $425.00 and this includes the transport fee. Thank you for adopting, every dog adopted allows us to open our homes to save another life. If you are interested in adopting SERENA CONTACT SHELLY **** lovedogs.rescue@gmail.com
