Marie is a female Maltese/Westie mix approximately 3 years of age. She has a solid, sturdy body, currently weighing 17 pounds. Marie has snowy white fur that appears to be non-shedding. She has been professionally groomed and has a shorter haircut. Marie's ears are probably her most expressive attribute, standing perky and at attention most of the time. Marie is a smart, quick girl and learns rapidly. She is eager to please her people and adores being the center of attention. She would be an excellent family dog since she can tolerate lots of affection, petting, loving and hugging. Marie has a nice amount of energy, she loves to run around at the park, go for walks, ride in the car, and be included in daily family life. She keeps up with a busy lifestyle just fine and will do well in an environment where there is lots of fun activity and things to do. Marie is social, outgoing, and very confident in public. She walks well on leash and you can take her anywhere. Marie is good with other dogs and with children. She has such a cheerful, upbeat attitude and will easily adjust to a new lifestyle. This sweet dog was brought in stray to a very high kill shelter where she lingered for nearly 3 weeks waiting for her owners to come claim her. Sadly, they apparently were no longer interested in caring for her. Marie was neglected, matted and dirty, obviously uncared for, so we are very pleased to be able to give her a new chance at a normal life. She is a total winner, sweet, loving, and will make a great family pet. She is looking for a responsible home where she can be loved forever!
Marie’s adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Marie is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Sharon and is ready for her forever home.
