My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Colette - 4 year old female Miniature Schnauzer/Dachshund. Colette is a schnauzer mix that we rescued at the same time we got Eleanor. We heard her story and couldn't leave her behind. Colette came in as a stray and when the volunteers were grooming her they discovered she is mostly blind. Our vet estimated Colette to be 3-4 years of age and that her blindness is due to early cateracts. We did a blood test also just to make sure there were no underlying problems and her blood work was normal. Colette is relatively young and she has confidence like a dog that has been blind a while. Her cateracts could be removed. Colette is a sweet quiet little lady weighing approximately 12 pounds

Our adoptions are restricted to residences of the Los Angeles, CA area. We do not ship animals nor do we do any type of long distance adoptions. See Our Adoption Policies for more details on our adoption policies.

Our Adoption Fairs are held every Saturday at the PETCO located at 537 N. PCH Redondo Beach CA 90277 from noon-4:00pm. It is best to come before 3:00pm to allow time to visit with the dogs.
