Update 1/31/13: Introducing Rocco!
Rocco is a small, 1 year old dog. He was recently rescued from the pound by volunteers.
As he awaits to be adopted, Rocco is residing in a foster home. His foster mom says Rocco has a sweet disposition. He gets along with people and also the other dogs in his foster home.
Rocco is playful and also enjoys snuggling in his favorite blanket. If his blanket is in his crate, he drags it out so he can lay on it.
Rocco enjoys playing with toys and gets oh-so-excited when its time for a walk! We believe he will make a great addition to many households.

While in the care of the Sadie Mae Foundation, all animals are fully vaccinated, heart worm tested and spayed or neutered. Other medical treatments may be provided to our animals, depending upon their specific needs.
In addition, this animal has been microchipped for identification purposes through HomeAgain's® Chip FurKeeps program. Adopters are required to pay the additional one-time,$10.99 microchip registration fee (which lasts the lifetime of the animal) upon adoption.
Info. about Sadie Mae Foundation's adoption process Please note that we do not ship animals or do same-day adoptions. Additionally, we ordinarily limit adoptions to homes within CT or no more than an hour or so drive from Hartford, CT in order to be able to conduct a home visit and provide follow-up assistance when necessary. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.
We try to make our adoption process as easy and painless as possible, but please understand where we are coming from and all of the work that goes into rescuing and rehoming homeless animals.
