My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTED!!!

Meet Pepper, a precious Cocker Spaniel mix puppy in search of the perfect home. Pepper has had a rough start in life and is ready to be spoiled rotten.

Pepper came into rescue with her littermates after someone dumped her mom and all the pups on a highway in Arkansas. Unfortunately, the mom was hit by a car and killed before she could be rescued. A kind passer by saw the pups sitting by their mother after she was hit and stopped to pick them up. These babies were quite frightened when they first came to us and would run each time they heard a vehicle. Who could blame them after all they'd seen?

Pepper and her two brothers have been vaccinated, wormed, and spayed/neutered and are now ready for homes of their own. Pepper is so much cuter than this picture shows...she just doesn't like to pose for the camera. :) Her littermates have been adopted, only Pepper is still available.

Pepper was born around the end of May or first of June, so she's about 4 1/2 months old now. According to the kind lady that picked the pups up, the mother was a purebred Cocker Spaniel. Since she and the pups were abandoned, we do not know what the dad to the pups was. The puppies appear to have either Schnauzer or Terrier or maybe even Wirehaired Dachshund in them as well as Cocker Spaniel. Whatever the mix is, they are absolutely gorgeous puppies.

If you are interested in adopting Pepper, please make sure you are prepared to care for her for the rest of her life. She needs a wonderful home to shower her with all of the love and devotion she deserves. She has plenty to give in return. She will only be adopted out to home that wants her primarily as an inside dog as she doesn't need to be put outside and forgotten about. She deserves to be a spoiled member of the family.

Adoption fee is $150 includes spay, vaccinations, and heartworm preventative. We send an adoption kit with each dog that includes a toy, treats, and vaccination information. Transport is available if needed at an additional cost.

Please note that we do not place our animals on a first come, first served basis. We work to find the best homes possible for our babies. Please fill out an application for adoption ONLY if you are serious about adopting this dog and you can provide for any special needs it may have. Vet references are required.
