My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sophie, a sweet, gentle, adorable Lhasa Apso mix who is about 5 years old and weighs about 20 lbs. Sophie is a quiet gal that loves her leash walks, and her fenced in yard. She adores a soft comfy dog or human bed.

Sophie came from a home with many dogs, and did not have much interaction with her humans, which makes her shy and hesitant. She is learning to trust the new people in her life. Sophie does not show any type of aggression to new people, she will simply avoid them until she feels comfortable.

Sophie is very easy to care for, and loves care rides. She is great with other dogs, and mostly ignores cats. We prefer that Sophie go to a home with at least one other dog, as she finds comfort in their company. She may be ok for folks with mild allergies, but we are not 100% certain of her breed.

Update:
Sophie likes to follow her foster mom from room to room now! She is mostly house trained at this point, and with a consistent schedule can only get better. We prefer that Sophie go to a home with children over 12, she is fine with being around children, but due to her nervousness we don't think she would love to be around children 24/7.
