My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

April: 2 year old basenji/pug mix. Probably potty trained. Good with other dogs. No small kids as she's shy with new people. Not sure how she is with cats.

We just adore this special little girl! She won our hearts within minutes of meeting her - we couldn't resist her adorable little underbite! April is a unique mix of basenji/pug; at 2 years old and 22 lbs, she's the perfect age and the perfect size. She's spunky and likes to play but is also quite the snuggler; she likes to be held while laying her head against your shoulder so that she can look at you with her limpid brown eyes while you stroke her. April is also very agile and would make a great agility dog; we found this out by accident ... when she decides it's time to be held, she will literally jump into your arms, creating quite a shock if your not ready for it! She is very shy with new people so would do best in a quiet home without small children as a busy environment would scare her. Please let us know if you'd like to adopt our little girl ... her adoption fee is $150. She's spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations.
