Pocahontas is a sweet lady like dog. She is mellow and would do fine with an older couple, low key family, even in an apartment. She was born with us and has struck out on finding her perfect FOREVER HOME since then. Pocahontas is a medical case. She has had surgery for hip displaysia and is also on medication to control her thyroid and for pain management. These things would need to be continued after she is adopted. She loves to go for walks and get attention up in your lap. She does not jump up and is very gentle. She would do best in a home with older children only. She loves to chew on bones. Pocahontas is housebroken and crate trained. Although this girl requires some special modifications in her home she is worth it!
