AARF only adopts in Richmond, Virginia and the surrounding area.

Hiya everyone!! My name is Hitch and I am the most affable loving big boy you'll ever meet. I just love my new life indoors and bowls full of yummy food. I am goofy and my foster mom says I look just like a cartoon with my big eyes and droopy ears. I get up every morning with a smile on my face- and love to sniff around your face as you wake up!! My foster mom says she never wakes up without a smile on her face now.

I am about 4 years old, weigh about 75 pounds, and am finally learning about coordination. Took me awhile to figure out steps- hehe. I live with another foster dog and I share my bed with him and love to lay around chewing a bone with him. I am a great barker, am housetrained now, and don't mess with anything inappropriate.. unless you were silly and happened to leave something yummy right on the edge of the counter!!
