~ ADOPTION PENDING ~ Alicia is a female Havanese/Shih Tzu mix approximately 2 years old. She has beautiful charcoal gray and white fur that is full, fluffy, and non-shedding. Alicia has been professionally groomed and is in excellent health. She is a nice sized girl, weighing in at 16 pounds. Alicia is a very quiet, tentative little girl who craves security and stability in her life. She has most definitely had a rough start and is hesitant about her surroundings. She was brought in stray to a very overcrowded, high euthanasia rate shelter. Alicia has a sweet, sensitive little heart and she will quietly observe things around her before deciding that all is well. Once she feels comfortable, she is just darling, wagging her little tail and eager for affection. She does well with other dogs, but is intimidated by crowds and therefore is not a fan of the dog park or lots of commotion in her home. She will blossom in a peaceful, warm, loving home where she can feel free to be herself and where she knows she is safe. Alicia will likely bond very closely with her new owners and will be a very grateful and loyal companion. She responds beautifully to gentle petting and being talked to. She wants to love and be loved. Alicia is not playing yet, but with time she may be enticed to play with soft squeaky toys or perhaps another dog her same size. Alicia rides well in the car and is learning how to walk on leash. She is a gorgeous, classy young dog and will make a lovely pet and companion. She is ready for her new forever home today!
Alicia’s adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Alicia is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Pam & Allen and is ready for her forever home.
