Ferguson is quite a looker in his beautiful tri-color, wire-haired coat. We are not too sure if he's a Norwich or Scottish Terrier, but his attitude is definitely Scottie and his coloring all Sheltie, along with his slightly taller legs.
Ferguson is a very independent young man, much like a Scottie. He is fine simply being near his person, but doesn't ask to be held. He is a touch on the shy side, though, and will take a moment to warm up to new people. But he is well worth the short wait. This little guy loves to chase birds and would make a great agility dog too.
Ferguson does great with other dogs and may actually do better in a home with another dog. He is ok with cats - he can take them or leave them. Though he doesn't like his crate yet, once he is inside you won't hear a peep from him all night long or for the whole car ride if it's used for travel. He is ok on lead, though he's not quite a pro at it, but he's willing to work on it and enjoys it for getting out and about.
Ferguson is new to meeting new people and new situations so he may take a little longer to show you his great personality, but he is so worth it. He apparently came from a home where he was allowed to cuddle on the couch with his people and they most likely had stairs as he has used them like a pro here at his foster home.
