MAILEY is a 1 year old spayed female silver/gray and white Pitt Bull Terrier and Weimaraner mix that is a really gorgeous girl! She is a medium build and weighs about 50lbs. Her sweet face is always "smiling" and will melt your heart!! She is friendly with other dogs and loves being with people. She is up-to-date on her shots.
Mailey is currently located in a shelter in the San Jose area. She passed all her behavior testing at the shelter. However, the shelter has decided she can not be adopted from the shelter because she has developed some redness between her toes which they consider a "minor medical issue"(a vet was consulted that said it is a common minor issue related to an environmental allergy and can be treated).
The shelter said she must be rescued ASAP and has only given until Nov. 18th to save her!!

When we heard about Mailey we stepped up to try to save her, but we must have a suitable temporary foster home or adopter ASAP so we can rescue her from the shelter.
Mailey will make a great family dog and does not deserve to die!
