Malcolm (male) 3 YEAR OLD – FULLY VETTED AND HEARTWORM NEGATIVE – OWNER IN HOSPITAL – NEEDS FOSTER HOME OR NEW HOME ASAP!! – CURRENTLY BEING BOARDED AT A VET!

He is a three-year old neutered male pit/boxer mix. He is not on preventative heart worm, but tested negative when checked two weeks ago at the vet. He is boarded at The Dog and Cat Clinic on Kings Highway. He does well around other BIG dogs. My brother would frequently have another pit from next door come over and "play". He is not good around small dogs (intimidates) and cats. He is trained to basic commands (sit, stay, shake, down). PLEASE HELP – FOSTER OR PERMANENT HOME NEEDED!!
There is a screening and/or application process to adopt me and my adoption fee is a suggested donation to NINNA’S ROAD TO RESCUE, a 501c3 non-profit organization, of $30 so that they can continue their Adoption Assistance Program for area pets in need and to help assure I go to a good home. Also, be sure to keep me on a monthly heartworm preventive. Dogs get heartworms from mosquitoes and the only way to protect me is with a monthly preventive that you get from your vet!
