My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

OPAL is the most "ADORABLE" 2 to 2 1/2 year old, approx 65 lb., BRIARD MIX. Opal was rescued from an extremely high kill shelter in Mississippi. We rescued both Opal and her sister Molly(also on our site). The original owners just said they could not take care for them anymore and left them!!. What a tragedy as these are the most adorable little girls. We are so glad that we received the call letting us know about them. We were on our way within minutes to help!!! Opal is a GORGEOUS, UNIQUE GIRL! Show stopper best sums up this beauty. Opal has one china blue eye and the other eye is cognac colored with a china blue fleck in it. Her eyes will stop you in your tracks they are so beautiful!!! She is GORGEOUS! True to the Briard breed Opal is just as graceful as can be. She has the regal, prancing gait the Briard breed often has. This pup in motion is breathtaking!! She is also the QUEEN OF SHAGGY with a gorgeous scruffy coat that actually looks like feathers blowing in the wind when Opal moves.!! Opal is very good with kids and would do best in a family with kids 8 and up, children that can run and play with her. Opal is a great girl and her goal is to make you happy. She has the neatest, one of a kind look and is just a beautiful girl. We promised these two sweet girls that we would find them a forever home! Opal has been spayed, she is current on all vaccinations including Rabies, and Bordetella. She is heartworm negative, on preventative, dewormed, and on Vectra for fleas and ticks. Both Opal & Molly are located in the South and will arrive in the New England area on a pet transport when adopted. Their adoption fee is $475.00(ech) and this includes the transport fee.
