My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Trini is a playful, energetic and responsive dog. She is affectionate, likes people and other dogs, and is indifferent to cats. Trini loves treats and as a result responds well to training. She wants to please and is curbing her enthusiastic behavior to not overwhelm people when meeting them.

She can be a great family dog, but her energy level may be too much for very young children. Older children, however, will enjoy teaching her to fetch, and other tricks. She has a coarse medium-long coat which appears not to shed and as a result may be a benefit when allergies are a concern. It seems to be at its normal length so grooming should not be a frequent issue.

At her current weight of 35 pounds, she is fully grown. A home with a yard and another dog to play with would be a definite plus. She is crate trained and house trained on a schedule (first thing in the morning, about mid day, late afternoon and evening). She is current on her shots, spayed and microchipped - what she needs is a forever home.
