Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Abbey, and I am a perky, sweet, loving little terrier mix who also happens to be diabetic. Wait! Don't let that scare you away! There are only two small things that make me different from a "typical" dog. One is that I need to have insulin injections two times a day. I am really good about getting my shots, and they are easy to give. Plus, the insulin is not expensive. The other thing is that I need a prescription food. I don't eat very much, so that really isn't a big deal, either. Those small issues are nothing compared to what an awesome dog I am! Everyone here at OAHS loves me...and they know I will be a great addition to a lucky family. I've been approved to live with kids age 10 and up. I don't shed, I get along great with other dogs and cats, and I love people. I'm all-around terrific! Come and meet me and I think you'll agree!
