Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

ADOPTION PENDING!
As HAHS now has several adoption locations, please contact Liz directly at 913-226-2694 or liz_novak@hotmail.com to find out when and where you can meet REUBEN!
This handsome young fellow is Reuben, and he'd LOVE to meet you! We aren't sure of his mix exactly, but our guess is Brittany Spaniel and Australian Shepherd. He has a nice short red and white coat and that isn't your imagination ... he really does have one blue eye and one brown eye! That all just makes him that much more adorable. We think Reuben was born in February 2012, making him about 10 months old now. He's housetrained, gets along well with other dogs, doesn't seem to mind cats, and LOVES kids. He'll sit nicely for a treat. He's very food-motivated, which means he'll probably learn a lot of commands with a little training. He's fairly calm for his age. He'll romp in the backyard and play with toys, but then he'll settle down for a nap and some cuddling. He does get a little excited when meeting new friends, so we're working on him not jumping up to greet people. Reuben would do great in an active family with (or without) kids. He'd also be an excellent companion for another playful dog. If he sounds like the right dog for you, contact his foster mom today!
