Sweet Jojo is only two years of age with a really sad past. A Good Samaritan saw him getting kicked in the stomach and then tossed out on the side of the road by his abusers. The Fuzzy Pet Foundation (TFPF) then took him into our care to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home.
Jojo has a clean bill of health, but he needs a very special home that can love him unconditionally, and understand he can be very fearful of strangers. Jojo needs a home with mature adults, and no children as he gets easily spooked and scared. He tends to gravitate towards one person, and will get very attached to one person. Jojo is fine with other dogs, and would do well with another fur-companion, but it's not a requirement. He's not much of a barker inside the home and loves to go on walks. Jojo thrives in a stable environment without too many strangers and noises.
Jojo's spirit is slightly broken as a result of his past trauma and abuse. We aren't giving up on him. We are continuously socializing him and trying to get Jojo to be more comfortable around strangers. He has come such a long way since when he arrived to us a few months ago.
