My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hickory is 7 years young and loving life! We rescued Hickory from a kill shelter where he faced near certain death because he was heartworm positive. We rescued Hickory and treated his heartworms. He is now heartworm negative and ready to live out the rest of his life in a loving forever home. Hickory is a laid back guy who easily fits himself into whatever situation he finds himself in. He's fine with other dogs, doesnt' care at all about the cats, and does well with kids. Hickory's looking for a home that will let him lounge on the back of the couch and give him time to sniff & explore outside. He's a low maintenance dog who likes to go for rides and enjoys meeting new people - as long as they'll give him a belly rub! Hickory deserves better than the life he had. He won't ask for much, but he'll give lots in return! Hickory is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, and treated with heartworm & flea preventative.
