Posted September 1st...meet Maxwell, an adorable 12 week old (as of September 1st) Collie/Beagle mix puppy. Currently at 10-13lbs, he is a big love bug. Maxwell came to Angels on Wheels from a high intake animal control in Harlan, Kentucky. He was dumped there along with his 5 siblings, Jude, Jessie, Delilah, Macy and Daisy. Who could walk away from this adorable face!?! Maxwell just wants to be loved and taken care of and have someone to play with. Angels on Wheels pulled the litter and placed them into 2 foster homes to begin the process of showing these babies what life can be like in a loving home. Although breed is only a guess, and he is probably mixed with many different breeds, he is cute, cute, cute, with an equally impressive personality.
Maxwell is being fostered in a loving home in Naperville with Jude where he's been exposed to older children, kitties, lots of love, play time, cuddle time, and the resident dog. Maxwell has a wonderful personality. He listens really well and I have a feeling he will be easy to train. He already knows sit and goes potty outside, pretty much all of the time.
While Maxwell is lovin his foster family and they feel the same way about him, it's time for him to complete his journey and find his furever family. He's looking for life long companions who are willing to love him, play with him, snuggle with him, and keep him all the days of his life. In return, he will reward you with lots of kisses and tail wagging. His adoption fee is $300 - a small price to pay for a lifetime of love!

The adoption fee of $300.00 includes the spay/neuter when old enough but paid for by Angels On Wheels, microchipped, 1st and 2nd puppy vacination for Distemper-Adenovirus-Parainfluenza-Parvo, dewormed with panacur, treated with Revolution or Front-Line Plus along with any other medical needs. You will also receive a free office visit to Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic, Yorkville Animal Hospital, Midwest Animal Hospital in Orland Park or Wheaton Animal Hospital, a training dvd, and tons of coupons for Petco.
The adoption fee also comes with a free puppy/doggy class through Flydogs located at Central Bark Doggie Day Care in Oswego, which introduces you to housebreaking, name recognition, crate training, sit/stay and leash walking. This is one free class you really don’t want to miss, and 10% off purchase of a 10-day care package for dogs attending Central Bark Doggy Day Care in Oswego.
Please note that we are a foster based rescue and do not have a facility, which means all of our animals are cared for in homes of wonderful people who have volunteered their time to help save them.
