My story

Hi, my name is KIMMY. Even though this is my name, I will come when called KIM, KIMBER or just with the “KI” sound….I know when I am being called even before you can say my name because I am just that special that you would want me by your side.
My story begins with my pregnant mother being rescued by my foster parents. My mother gave birth to 6 babies one week later. Since then all my litter mates have been adopted and are very happy. I want my forever home too with a family to call my very own.

Did I mention that I am living with my MOTHER. It is time for this girl to expand my horizon and experience life with my very own family. I am a very fun loving girl. I play when it is play time and I sleep when it is bedtime. I am completely housetrained, love to cuddle and I give lots of kisses. My foster Mom and Dad love me very much but they too know that I want my own family to love me and me love them back. Please, let me be a member of your family.

Are you interested in adopting Kimmy or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.

Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at Petsmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
