Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mink is a happy, friendly, snuggly and extremely attentive 18-month-old, 45-pound, male, dark brown and white pit bull terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian. Mink was rescued from a shelter where he was going to be euthanized. He has a delightful temperament and enjoys the company of other dogs and people. His tail is always happily wagging and he’s full of kisses. He has a healthy-looking glossy dark brown coat with a white chest. He doesn’t have a speck of aggression, but he does jump up enthusiastically, so he’d be best in a home without small children … at least until he’s gotten some obedience and manners training. Mink knows how to sit on command and takes treats pretty nicely from your fingers. He doesn’t appear to know what toys and balls are for yet … but hopefully he’ll get to enjoy them in his new home.
Mink is very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm tested and on monthly preventative. To meet and possibly foster or adopt Mink, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net . His adoption donation of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Lucky Dog Rescue. He is currently living in a foster home in Chicago, IL and would love to have a forever home to call his own!
