Breed: Miniature Schnauzer/Yorkie Color: Gray, tan, black


Age: Kiwi is between a year and 1.5 years old


Size: Kiwi is about 12 lbs. and should not get any bigger


Activity Level: Kiwi loves a good run or chase in the yard, but comes in and settles nicely.


Manners: Kiwi is housebroken. She did have a few accidents the first couple days, but has been accident free since. She is learning some basic commands, as she didn’t have a clue when she first came. She now automatically sits when she sees I have a treat. She’s very happy to see you come home, and literally jumps for joy- we’re working on that ☺ She’s crated while home alone and goes in with no complaints. She’s also crated for car rides, and is perfectly fine with it as well. She is not crated at night, and usually sleeps on her big pillow bed.


Foster Family Observations: Kiwi is an absolute sweetheart. She loves being around people, going for walks, and cuddling. I don’t know how she would be with cats, but she’s a gentle little soul who loves the company of my bigger dog. She is inquisitive with my little 6lb. chi, but she’s 12 and has no interest in Kiwi, who has been quite respectful of her. She takes her treats gently and isn’t a beggar. She was recently groomed and was a very good girl. The cut she has right now is pretty easy to maintain- I give her a light combing daily. The loving & forever home that she goes to will be getting a wonderful and sweet little girl!
