My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

1 1/2 year old Eddie is a docile and sweet-tempered tibetan spaniel / shih tzu mix weighing around 22 lbs. He was turned in to a "high kill" shelter by an owner who no longer wanted him. We can't understand why ... Eddie is subdued and submissive, a little tentative with strangers and new environment, and also completely passive with other dogs. He's very sensitive so doesn't adapt to change easily; because of this, he would do better in a quiet home as a lot of noise and activity would traumatize him. He is very dependent on the two dogs who were relinquished with him (Alice and Ralph) so definitely needs to go to a home in which there is another dog that he can put his trust and allegiance in. He is a patient observer and waits at the back of the pack until he has a chance to quietly come over to be picked up or stroked on the head. What a gentle soul this little boy has! Eddie's adoption fee is $200; he's neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations.
